The lightest Panigale of all time.

The new Ducati Panigale V2 marks a historic transition in the history of Borgo Panigale twin-cylinder sports bikes. For the first time it does not derive from the larger motorcycle that competes in Superbike and has been designed from scratch, which has resulted in the creation of the lightest ever Panigale. It weighs a good 37.8 lb less than the previous model, inheriting the characteristic sports attitude and track performance of that bike and adding a level of ease, comfort and riding pleasure.

    Highlighted Features
    • New V2 engine: Featuring the classic 90° architecture, a Ducati twin trademark, the new V2 is equipped with an innovative electronic variable timing system that ensures substantial torque delivery at all engine speeds and real sports performance at the top end. Homologated with displacement of 890 cc, it weighs just 119 lbs, making it the lightest twin-cylinder ever produced in Borgo Panigale.
    • Adjustable suspension: The standard version of the Panigale V2 is equipped with a fully adjustable 43 mm Marzocchi fork at the front and a Kayaba shock at the rear. The Panigale V2 S, complete with 43 mm Öhlins NIX30 fork and Öhlins shock, sets the benchmark for suspension in its category.
    • Benchmark electronics: The Panigale V2 flaunts electronics derived from those of the Panigale V4. The new 5” TFT color display allows the rider to modify the levels of Cornering ABS, Traction Control, Wheelie Control and Engine Brake even while riding, in real time. The Panigale V2 is also equipped with the new Ducati Quickshift 2.0 as standard.
    • Modern racing ergonomics: The ergonomic triangle of the Panigale V2 is modern, with a contained seat to handlebar height difference to ensure maximum feeling at the front end without excessively overloading the arms. This translates into comfort on the road and heightened performance on track. The footpegs are high and allow for significant lean angles but without locking the knees, for guaranteed comfort also during everyday use.
    • Brakes: The Panigale V2 is equipped with Brembo M50 callipers, which ensure outstanding performance on track and excellent controllability on the road. The master cylinder is radial while the brake discs measure 320 mm at the front and 245 mm at the rear. The coloured calipers, available as an accessory, add another personalized touch to the aesthetic.
    • Thermal Comfort: The Panigale V2 guarantees the rider real thermal comfort thanks to passive ventilation ducts designed to optimise the air flow and reduce heat during riding. This solution improves the riding experience, ensuring a comfortable temperature on even the hottest days.
    • Lightweight aluminium wheels: The Panigale V2 is equipped with new die-cast aluminum wheels featuring six “Y” spokes arranged in three groups of two. The Pirelli Diablo Rosso IV tires, 120/70 at the front and 190/55 at the rear, offer an impressive footprint and exceptional handling on the road. Those seeking maximum performance on track can mount slick tyres with a 190/60 rear, the same size used in the Supersport World Championship.

Why Buy a Pre-Owned Motorcycle at BMW Motorcycles of Concord?

Choosing between new or pre-owned BMW Motorcycles can be one of the most complex decisions that you have to take. On the one hand, there is a risk of issues evolving after you purchase a pre-owned motorcycle, while on the other hand, new ones may tend to go out of your budget. However, the risks involved in buying a pre-owned motorcycle can be reduced or even eliminated if you buy from our BMW, Triumph, and Ducati Motorcycle dealership near Berkeley, CA. You’ll see why motorcycles like the Triumph Trident 660, the Ducati Multistrada 1260, and the BMW R 18 are amazing.

What Benefits Will You Gain If You Buy a Pre-Owned Motorcycle from BMW Motorcycles of Concord?

If you belong to the list of people who have recently developed an interest in riding a motorcycle and want a premium motorcycle for themselves, or if you’re looking to upgrade your motorcycle, buying a pre-owned motorcycle may serve several benefits to you. Let’s take a look at the benefits you’ll get if you consider purchasing a used motorcycle from BMW Motorcycles of Concord.

    No Extra Costs

When buying pre-owned motorcycles, you can save a handsome amount of money as there aren’t any additional costs involved. For example, since all expenses like road tax, RTO charges, and registration charges are already paid by the first owner, you won’t have to pay them again.

The only cost you will have to pay is the motorcycle’s fixed amount that the motorcycle dealership requests.

    Better Return on Value

It is a fact that the depreciation rate of a brand-new motorcycle is larger than the depreciation rate of a used motorcycle. On average, a new motorcycle loses approximately 50 percent of its value in the first five years after being purchased. After this time, the rate of depreciation tends to slow down.

Hence, if you get a pre-owned motorcycle near Oakland, CA, or near Richmond, CA, you are highly likely to get it at a much lower price. Even if you decide to sell it after some time and at a different location near Berkeley, CA, or near San Francisco, CA, you won’t lose much money.

Why Should You Trust Our Dealership?

We at BMW Motorcycles of Concord have a new and used motorcycle inventory that also includes the Triumph Trident 660, the Ducati Multistrada 1260, and the BMW R 18 for sale.
